The Decision Engine is seamlessly integrated through its APIs to the Loan Origination System.
The engine can work for pre-screening, classical scoring, rating, limit calculation and any additional decision points.
It is capable of handling an unlimited number of different decision logics, which can differ by customer segment (including sub-segments), product, product variant, etc.
The models can be differentiated by product or client sub-segments.
Business rules and decision logic with graphical visualisation can be built and customised by the Bank’s employees with relevant roles, without requiring deep IT knowledge.



Financial statement
Analyser
Financial Statement Analyser supports the key process of credit risk management by offering a broad feature set for the centralised collection and analysis of financial statement data for various accounting standards, such as IFRS, local GAAPs, etc.
The Financial Statement Analyser is a separate module which is seamlessly integrated to the Loan Origination System, it can handle:
- Financial ratio and cash flow calculation
- Convert different accounting standards into a comparable one

ApPello LOS is delivered with a self-service portal, which provides superior customer experience with its modern and easy-to-use functions. The portal not only cuts the Bank’s costs but also helps the Bank to attract new customers as well as retain existing clients by providing an excellent customer experience. Customers can communicate to the Bank, upload required documents, and check on the loan status. The available loan purposes are maintained in the loan origination backend.

Collaterals
For the loan origination process it is necessary to know all existing loans and collaterals of the client. The System allows the entry of the obligations and collateral data from the screen, as well as the importing of data via standard APIs. Any supplementary data may also be entered for the selected collateral.

Covenants
Different (financial/non-financial) conditions are handled by the system. Covenants can be connected to loans, partners and workflows while every covenant belongs to a covenant type.
Based on the covenant definitions the system automatically generates the proper covenants for the loan origination process. However the relevant users can also add unique covenants during the process.



Documents &
Contracts
The solution is integrated to a document management module for both generating and storing documents.
It handles any type of contracts. The contract are generated automatically, and all relevant information is collected to fill in every detail. Technically it is generated with the help of MS Word templates with macros.
Document management tools help to generate various documents based on templates and then auto-fill them with all relevant and available data in the system. This is a highly useful and time-saving tool in the loan origination process, used for preparing all of the paperwork needed in the process (loan proposals, contracts, notifications, statements, etc.). Digital signature supports the verification of contracts and agreements.

Corporate risk management
with groups of connected clients
Usually in the corporate sector it is not uncommon that the processing of an application requires scoring the risk group of the client and then evaluating the existing and proposed exposure levels for this group. Groups of connected clients (GCC) can be handled at group level enabling financial institutions to handle such complexities related to SME & Corporate lending.

ApPello Loan Origination System allows power users to flexibly manage and customize all lending related workflows for their full lifecycle. Any number of workflow types can be defined using the inbuilt editor interfaces. Different workflows can be created using different workflow steps by bank users without the assistance of ApPello or an IT team.
The precondition and completion criteria for all these workflows can also be easily parameterised. Depending on the actual parameters parallel tasks can be defined with the same or different assignees that can be performed in any given order.
